Filling Mornings With Kindness
2nd Annual Good Morning Breakfast Food Drive
Team Rudd Foundation’s 2nd Annual Good Morning Breakfast Food Drive has officially wrapped, and we are overwhelmed with gratitude.
Thanks to the kindness of our community, local partners, donors, and collection sites, breakfast items were gathered to help support local families and individuals who may need a little extra help starting the day.
From cereal and oatmeal to granola bars, shelf-stable milk, juice, pancake mix, syrup, peanut butter, coffee, tea, and other morning essentials, every donation helped turn a simple breakfast item into an act of care.
A very special thank you to everyone who hosted, donated, collected, shared, lifted, sorted, packed, and helped make this drive possible. Every bag, box, basket, and helping hand became part of the ripple.

A quick message from Scott Rudd, filled with gratitude for everyone who helped make the 2nd Annual Good Morning Breakfast Food Drive such a meaningful success.
Because of our community, these breakfast donations became more than food — they became comfort, care, and one more ripple of kindness.
Special Thanks
The 2nd Annual Good Morning Breakfast Food Drive would not have been possible without the generosity, energy, and support of our community partners.
A heartfelt thank you to Speak Freezy, Bullseye Laser Tag, Primerica / Dawn Gagnon, The Kiwanis Club of Edison, The Woodbridge Metro Chamber of Commerce, The House of Dentistry, Perry Dental and TMJ Center, and Floral Expressions for helping make this year’s drive a success.
We are especially grateful to Jim Olgren, owner of Floral Expressions, for going above and beyond to support the drive and help make sure these breakfast donations reached families who could use a little extra kindness.
We are also deeply grateful for a generous monetary donation that helped us purchase additional breakfast items and fill in important needs for the drive, as well as the generous support from the Office of the Mayor’s Dress Down Fridays initiative, which helped further strengthen this year’s collection.
Every collection, every donation, every share, and every helping hand helped make the ripple grow.
Because sometimes kindness starts with breakfast.

Cooking with Kindness at Ronald McDonald House
Today, Scott and David had the privilege of joining members of the Kiwanis Club of Edison to cook dinner for families staying at Ronald McDonald House in New Brunswick.
Together with Wendy, Reeta of Minuteman Press in Edison, and Reeta’s nephew Ayan, we prepared a vegan enchilada casserole, Mexican chopped salad with cilantro lime vinaigrette, and churro cupcakes for the families staying at the House.
Want to help Ronald McDonald House?
Ronald McDonald House of Central & Northern New Jersey welcomes support through volunteering, meal programs, donations, and wish list items. To learn more about volunteer opportunities, donations, or current needs, visit Ronald McDonald House of Central & Northern New Jerseydirectly.
Ronald McDonald House provides a place of comfort and support for families caring for seriously ill or injured children receiving medical treatment. Being able to prepare a meal, even for one evening, was a meaningful reminder that sometimes kindness looks like dinner, a clean kitchen, and one less thing for a family to worry about.
While this meal was organized through the Kiwanis Club of Edison, it reflects the kind of community care Team Rudd Foundation believes in deeply. We are grateful for the opportunity to support this work and hope to continue finding ways to help families staying at Ronald McDonald House.
Ripple Notes from Scott & David
Every week or two, Scott and David will share reflections from inside the ripple — what we’re working on, what inspired us, who helped, what we learned, and where kindness is leading us next.
These notes will be part update, part reflection, and part reminder that meaningful change often begins with one small act.
